The Stour Festival Company Limited (Stour Music) takes your privacy seriously and will only use it for administrative purposes and for the purposes for which it was given.

Friends of Stour Music

Stour Music will only use your personal information to provide the services to which you are entitled as a Friend of Stour Music and for administrative purposes.

From time to time, we would like to contact you about matters and events related to Stour Music. If you would like to receive such information, please indicate your consent in the application form when you apply to become a Friend, otherwise we shall not legally be able to send it to you.

If you cease to be a Friend of Stour Music for whatever reason, your personal information will be removed from any written or electronic database maintained by us.

If you have made or intend to make a Gift Aid Declaration, please refer to ‘Gift Aid Declarations’ below.

If you have given or intend to give us an e-mail address, please refer to ‘Communication by E-mail’ below.

Stour Music currently contracts ticket sales to the Gulbenkian Theatre Box Office. We will not share your personal information with the Gulbenkian Theatre Box Office. Any personal information acquired by the Gulbenkian Box Office from applications for tickets will be held in accordance with its Privacy Statement, which can be found on its web-site, thegulbenkian.co.uk. We will ensure that the same will apply to any organisation with which Stour Music may at any time hereafter contract ticket sales, as notified in publicity and on our web-site.

General Postal Mailing List

Stour Music will only use your personal information to send you the current Festival brochure once a year, as requested, or for administrative purposes and, if you are added to the list on or after 1 June 2018, occasional notifications of other matters and events related to Stour Music.

If you were added to the list before 1 June 2018, we would like to contact you about matters and events related to Stour Music from time to time. If you would like to receive such information by post, please contact Stour Music Records at the address below. If you would like to receive it by e-mail, you can subscribe by visiting our website at www.stourmusic.org.uk. In this case, please refer to ‘Communication by E-mail’ below.

If you tell us that you no longer wish to be included in the General Postal Mailing List, your personal information will be removed from any written or electronic database maintained by us.

General Electronic Mailing List

Stour Music will only use your personal information to send you details of when the current year’s Festival programme is on-line and of other matters and events related to Stour Music.

Stour Music itself does not hold your personal information is in any written or electronic database.

Members of the Festival Choir

The Stour Festival Company Limited (Stour Music) takes your privacy seriously and will only use your personal information for administrative purposes in connection with your membership of the Stour Music Festival Choir.

If you have given or intend to give us an e-mail address, please refer to ‘Communication by E-mail’ below.

If you tell us that you no longer wish to be included in the list of Members of the Festival Choir, your personal information will be removed from any written or electronic database maintained by us.

Donors other than Friends

The Stour Festival Company Limited (Stour Music) takes your privacy seriously and will only use your personal information for administrative purposes.

Unless you have given or intend to make a Gift Aid Declaration (see ‘Gift Aid Declarations’ below), your personal information will not be retained after the end of the financial year in which the donation is made.

Gift Aid Declarations

Personal information contained in a Gift Aid Declaration is only used for the purposes of making claims to HMRC for repayment of tax.

Gift Aid Declarations are retained for six tax years from the year in which we last received a subscription/donation from you that qualified for Gift Aid in accordance with HMRC requirements.

Communication by E-mail

Stour Music uses the marketing automation platform MailChimp for bulk e-mails.

Any personal data uploaded to MailChimp is held in in accordance with its own Privacy Statement, which can be found on its website.

You can unsubscribe from the electronic mailing list at any time by using ‘unsubscribe from the list’ facility at the foot of any email from [email protected] Friends of Stour Music and people on the General Mailing List, please note that this will have the effect of removing you from the list for all purposes.

Consent

Friends of Stour Music and people on the General Postal Mailing List can either withdraw consent to receiving information about matters and events related to Stour Music or give consent to receiving such information in the future by contacting Stour Music Data (see ‘Contact’ below).

If you wish to check or update the information which we hold about you or have a question about our privacy policy, you can contact Stour Music Data (see ‘Contact’ below).

Stour Music takes all reasonable steps to ensure the security of any personal information, however acquired and wherever held.
