Tango is an encounter between the cultures of continents, and in microcosm between two people united in dance. ‘Tango Encounters’ presents Argentine tango music and dance ranging from the golden age of the 1930s and 40s to the intense nuevo tango of Astor Piazzolla and beyond. The Tango Siempre company have previously appeared in the West End show Midnight Tango, BBC Strictly Come Dancing, The One Show, Zingzillas, ITV Surprise Surprise, Radio 3 In Tune and the Classic Brit Awards.
