Vox Luminis, founded in 2004 in Namur, specialises in the performance of 16th–18th-century vocal music. It has been praised for its seamless blend of high quality individual voices, exquisite tuning and clarity of sound. Their 2012 CD of Schütz’s Musicalische Exequiem won Gramophone ‘Record of the Year’ and ‘Baroque Vocal Award’. The 2013/14 season saw them make their London debut, with concerts at the Wigmore and Cadogan Halls.
