Fully staged new production of the one-act opera commissioned by Kent Opera in 1971

Chaucer’s famous 14th-century Canterbury Tale of three rioters, Gross, Mean and Young, on a drunken journey to find Death and kill him, is brilliantly depicted in Norman Platt’s skilful adaptation of the story and Alan Ridout’s colourful score.
