Mark Padmore tenor
Elizabeth Kenny lute

One of the outstanding tenors of his generation, Mark Padmore’s repertory ranges from medieval polyphony to opera to contemporary song. Over the past few years he has become particularly well known for his committed performances of the Evangelist in Bach’s Passions, in staged versions at ENO and Glyndebourne. His recording of Dowland songs, released earlier this year, was received with great critical acclaim, highlighting his ‘exquisite diction, warm and burnished vocal tone and endless breath support’.
