Roderick Williams: ‘Enough’ for solo oboe
Roderick Williams, renowned baritone and composer, exquisitely expressive performer and multi-talented musician, drew inspiration for ‘Enough’ for solo baroque oboe, from J S Bach’s Cantata 82 ‘Ich habe genug’. Written for Gail Hennessy in 2004, it is a very emotional work, and will be followed by the cantata from which it sprang, sung by Williams himself.
