Trio Sonatas
Torelli, Corelli, Vivaldi, Montanari
Two great musicians with very different characters – the classical serenity of Corelli is contrasted with the fiery virtuosity of Torelli, the man who more or less invented the concerto. A violin duo by Vivaldi and a sonata by Montanari, another little known but highly individual personality, complete the programme.
